Here's a sketch of Cannonball that I did for my friend Jenn's birthday! Cannonball is her all time favorite X-Man, so it's only fitting that she gets a drawing of him for her special day. My apologies for the crappy quality. I forgot to actually scan the pic before I gave it to her! D'oh!
Tribute to the amazing cosplay of Borderlands' Mad Moxxi by Meagan VanBurkleo.
Check out her work here:
I've wanted to draw one of her cosplays for years now, but could never pinpoint which one of her kick @$$ costumes I wanted to put into my work. When the pics from Comic Con emerged this year, the decision was clear as day! Mad Moxxi all the way!
For a special treat, here is a pic of the drawing when it was in it's intial sketching/inking phase:
When I started this blog a few years ago, i had originally intended it to be a place where i would post stuff that i normally wouldn't post on Facebook/Myspace/Deviantart. Well, that went out the window reaaaaally quick LOL After slacking off enough in that department, its finally time to get back to the original plan. Sooooooo, here are a handful of random drawings that i've just doodled around with over the past few months...
My ever loving girlfriend dared me to draw a koala. So i did.
Below are a few random sketches i did while fooling around on my lunch hour at work:
And finally, a piece that i have been working on for a little while for a friend. She's a big monster movie buff, so i am trying my best to incorporate some of the classic movie monsters of the past into the piece. Here's to hoping that i get it finished before the end of the year...
This was based on a marker sketch that i did probably about 7 years ago. It was an inside joke that went a bit too far. I decided to redraw it just to see how i might interpret it differently. I tell you one thing...it's really weird to redraw something you did such a long time ago. It's also gives you a pretty warm and fuzzy feeling to see how far you have come as an artist.
