Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me...

Kim Possible has to be one of my all time favorite Disney animated series. It's right up there with Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Aladdin, Gummi Bears and Hercules. The big question is what is the hold up on having some season box sets hitting store shelves?!?! I know i'm not the only one out there asking for this, right?! :-)

I've loved Kim Possible since I saw it while babysitting a friend's daughters when it first came out. The mom was a Hyperchristian who wanted her daughters to watch Bible Man and that genre of dren, so I introduced them secretly to Disney Channel and Cartoon Network shows and whenever I babysat thenceforward we sneaked in episodes of Teen Titans, Kim Possible, Powerpuff Girls, and Dexter (not the brilliantly done Showtime Serial-Murderer show, but the brilliant cartoon about a red headed bespectacled boy scientist with an inexplicably Germano-Austrian accent. It may have had another name, but I remember the kids always called it Dexter, and I'm too lazy right now to look it up to see if that's right.) All brilliant arty animations, all totally not what the Mom wanted me to show them because they involved science and independent strong minded female characters (except Dexter, but they identified with Dexter so no biggie). Now instead of little Christian Soldiers, one girl wants to be a scientist, the other wants to be a crimefighter. Mom can't understand how her girls got so "opinionated," as she calls it. They have since told her I let them watch what they call "smart stuff instead of Jesus crap," and Mom doesn't like me much anymore....
